Clearly entrepreneurship is not for everyone. But how do you know whether it’s for you? Well, regardless of how you earn your living, there are character traits for any person in any occupation. As for the entrepreneur, major character traits include:
Leader a person who has commanding authority or influence.
- Strong leadership qualities
Takes charge in an effort to get the job done.
Works tirelessly to solve problems that confront them.
Adapts well to change.
- Self-motivated and able to motivate others
Very passionate about their ideas and driven to produce.
Strong sense of ethics, honesty and the ability to inspire others.
- Innovator and risk taker
Always seeks to develop new ideas and improve processes.
Never afraid to take chances, ask questions or make mistakes.
Will admit to any error made and move forward to correct.
- Makes a difference
Willing to make sacrifices.
Takes actions designed to benefit others.
- Works well with professionals
Has a well-established network of professionals who are willing
to provide consultation and referrals.
- Strong ego and desire to be wealthy
Relishes a sense of accomplishment and enjoys the financial
rewards that accompany it.
